JOB TITLE:  Talent Acquisition Partner (Hybrid)

OBJECTIVE / PURPOSE 

The Talent Acquisition Partner will source, attract, and hire qualified candidates through innovative approaches for current and future workforce needs. This position understands external labor market conditions and uses this data to develop recruiting strategies.  Collaborates with hiring managers to develop candidate profiles/position descriptions to seek the right person for the right job.  Provides an exceptional candidate experience throughout the entire selection process. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS

  • Partner with hiring managers to create and execute innovative recruiting strategies to fill vacant positions.
  • Source, pre-screen, and present qualified candidates who meet position requirements.
  • Build a diverse candidate pipeline through job boards, online sourcing, social media, networking, team member and external referrals, job fairs, professional associations, colleges and alumni groups, and diversity sourcing.
  • Manage interview scheduling, candidate evaluation, and the offer process.
  • Build and maintain local and national staffing agency relationships.
  • Initiate, review, and interpret background checks, pre-employment screenings, and reference checks.
  • Use ADP Workforce Now to manage and track applicants from requisition to onboarding.
  • Provide applicant tracking system training and support to hiring managers. 
  • Manage company’s Employee Referral Bonus Program.
  • Develop and facilitate New Hire Orientation and Onboarding Program.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly recruiting reports and departmental metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, reporting requirements and company policies.
  • Serve as Emerging Leaders Alumni Network Administrator, managing the network and fostering engagement, collaboration, and ongoing development.
  • Provide administrative support for CBS University.
  • Work alongside HR/OD team members to perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in human resources/business or related field required.  PHR/SHRM or Talent Acquisition certification preferred.

Experience: 

  • Seven plus years progressive recruiting and selection experience required.
  • ADP Workforce Now proficiency required.
  • Learning management system (LMS) experience preferred to support onboarding and CBS University.
  • Experience recruiting for industrial operations, office, and managerial positions.

Skills: 

  • Understands the higher standard HR professionals are held to and consistently shows sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism in decisions and interactions.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches at once while giving hiring managers and candidates a high level of service.
  • Strong planning, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 (especially Excel), SharePoint, and SurveyMonkey.
